With WESG 2017 World Finals set to start on Tuesday, we bring you a viewer's guide with all the details you need regarding the event.
Held at the Haikou International Convention & Exhibition Center, the WESG 2017 World Finals will run from Tuesday to Sunday with a total of 28 teams battling it out for a share of the $1.5 million prize pool.
The event was due to have 32 attending squads, but Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's Ukraine, NOREG, Viva Algeria and EMC have withdrawn from the competition. Still, the team list includes some impressive names such as SK, Cloud9 and fnatic.
WESG will kick off with a best-of-one group stage
Below you can find the group draw for the tournament, which includes Group E and H with only two teams, who are through to the next stage but will still have to play each other for seeding purposes:

As for the event's schedule, the first two days will be all about the first group stage, whose contestants will play in a best-of-one round-robin format. From there, the top two teams from each will advance to the second group stage, where 16 teams will be split into four round-robin groups, this time around in a best-of-two format.
On Saturday and Sunday, the best eight teams from the second group stage will move on to the tournament's playoffs, a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket. The full schedule looks as follows:
