dignitas and Ancient are the final two teams to attend DreamHack Masters Malmö next month after achieving victories over AGG and CPH Wolves respectively in the second European closed qualifier.
Another sixteen teams came into a second European closed qualifier gauntlet to try and secure the final two spots to the $250,000 DreamHack Masters Malmö tournament that will run from April 12-17.
With the format being a single elimination, best-of-three bracket, a few upsets did occur such as AGG taking down SK in the quarter-finals and Markus "pronax" Wallsten's Ancient bringing down FlipSid3 in their respective game.

By far the biggest upset however was Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen & co. of CPH Wolves bringing down G2 in a quarter-final match that went down to the wire.
In the first qualifying semifinal however, the Danish wolves were no match for the Swedes of Ancient as Andreas "znajder" Lindberg put in a dominant performance across two maps, with Ancient winning 16-3 on de_train and 16-11 on de_overpass.

Fans of close Counter-Strike games were therefore in for more of a treat in the second qualifying semifinal, as AGG at first appeared poised to continue a tournament-long streak of solid play by winning the first map of de_train against Dignitas with a score of 16-3.
The Danes, led by a strong effort via Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye, rallied on the final two maps however and ultimately walked away as victors, winning de_mirage 16-10 and de_cbble 16-8.
