Group A of Fnatic FragOut Season 2 has been played out, with Epsilon finishing at the top to seal passage into the semi-finals. Epsilon were level on points with both Anexis and Virtus.pro as Group A produced a three-way tie at the summit, but the Swedish side claimed bragging rights because of the head-to-head advantage over those two teams. Anexis and Virtus.pro, who came in second and third respectively, will have to play the relegation stage against the teams from Group B to contest a place in the semi-finals.
The major letdown of Group A was RaidCall EMS One Cup #1 winners Copenhagen Wolves, who picked up just one victory from five matches as they finished in fifth place, only above n!faculty.
Group B will kick off tonight, at 19:00 , with a mouth-watering contest between Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic. Later in the evening, ESC Gaming will lock horns with LDLC.com (20:00 ) and k1ck will tackle iNation (22:00 ). Time is adjusted to your selected timezone |
